"Our Girls" all have a passion for fashion, interior decor, and organization. You may even say that we are foodies with a palette for mexican, sushi, thai, and american cuisines. What better way than to incorporate all of our loves into wedding and event planning? Of course, we had to come up with a business name that represented each of our girls. So then came the countless days of tossing e-mails and ideas back and forth, not to mention the endless sleepless nights trying to find the perfect name for our business that reflected who "we" are. Something two words, three syllables. Something cute. Something sweet. And then one night in bed, Nicole thought of "lovely", and immediately pulled out her laptop and Wikipedia’d the definition. And there it was... \lev-lé\ : having beauty that appeals to the emotions as well as to the eye. All of things that we envision make for the perfect wedding or event. So, that is the story of how "our Girls" became the "LovelyGirls".

Liza has an eye to mesh family traditions and customs with a modern flair to make a statement that is uniquely you!

Liza found her passion in event planning, so she decided to minor in event planning while earning her bachelors degree from Temple University in public realtions and journalism.

She credits her understanding of just what it takes to make an event go off without a hitch to her thirteen years in the food and service industry. "My experience in catering and restaurant management has given me the knowledge I need to see weddings and events from every angle. This gives me the edge I need to design an extraordinary event.". Liza resides in the city of Philadelphia.

Once would have described herself as "retro modern chic", but was most recently told she had a flair for the vintage!  “I like saturated colors, strong contrasts, and bold patterns. I always look for something different and draw inspiration from everywhere,” says Nicole.  She lives by the rule that if your showing a lot of leg, then you might want to cover up the top!  She feels that her events should have the same feel.

 

Nicole attended the University of Delaware while majoring in Fashion Merchandising and just currently received her Wedding Planning Certification from the Wedding Planning Institute in the Spring of '09. Nicole is currently an instructor for the Wedding Planning Institute, a division of Lovegevity through the local community college

 

Nicole has experience in restaurant and beverage management during her  eight year tenure at Delaware Park Race Track & Slots. During her free time Nicole enjoys shopping, decorating, and taking in the breathtaking views of the Brandywine River with her puppy, Cooper. Nicole currently resides in the City of Wilmington.
