Seriously, I have no idea what I would have done without Liza and Nicole. They were beyond helpful and were able to help me finish out all of my planning in the month before my wedding. They are extremely professional and on top of every little detail both before the wedding and the day of. After putting in so much hard work to make a lot of the decor myself, it was great to know that everything would be perfectly in its place. Everything looked wonderful and it really is thanks to them. Liza even did my flowers and I cannot begin to say how amazing they turned out! She was wonderful to work with and helped to make my vision come true. I absolutely loved how they turned out and it was a great way to save on a traditionally large cost. LovelyGirls Events made my wedding PERFECT! From designing the DIY church door wreathes to making my vision a reality!!!! Big Indian wedding. TWO ceremonies (Christian and Hindu ones). Tons of colors, feathers, candles, food, and guests. And one very very, very relaaaaaxed bride. How? The planners from LovelyGirls. We got married about 6 weeks ago, and people are STILL talking about how amazing the wedding was! I’m a non-profit attorney at a very busy Philadelphia office, so i didn’t really get started on my wedding planning until the last 6 weeks or so, even though we were having a big Indian wedding! The thing is, thanks to Nicole, Trisha, and Liza, it looked like we’d spent thousands more dollars and at least a year longer planning the wedding! They’re based out of Wilmington, DE, but they came to Philadelphia several times to help with vendors, centerpieces, etc., and were more than happy to work tirelessly for our Philly wedding. They even came with us to meet with a difficult florist, helped us get our money back when the florist and I had “creative differences,” and created our centerpieces for us. Seriously. They created ALL of our centerpieces!! They picked up all the eiffel tower vases, feathers, floralytes, butterflies, and all the other crazy DIY stuff I’d bought online and they worked their magic with just about a week to go before the wedding. And honestly it looked better than I’d even pictured. Most of all, they listened. I’d met several vendors who scoffed at my ideas. My theme was simple — FUN. We had the Hindu ceremony and reception at the Please Touch children’s museum, with the merry-go-round and all… LovelyGirls used all my Indian cloth overlays, seven(!!) different wedding cakes, and the location itself to create a look that was both fabulous and deeply personal.
